About Us
We help individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Our team works alongside experienced professionals across the country to help individuals and families protect what they have built, prepare for retirement, and preserve their legacy.
Founder
Robert Johnson began his career operating a nuclear power plant for the United States Navy — an environment where nobody is impressed by a system that works on a good day. He has spent the three decades since applying the same standard to family wealth.
He studied engineering at Arizona State University and finance at Western International University, and entered financial services with Northwestern Mutual in 1992. What he learned early still drives the work: a good product is not a plan, and a plan that has never been pressure-tested is a hope.
Today Robert leads an insurance agency, a tax strategy firm, and Zoop Alpha Advisors, an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm — so protection, tax strategy, and investment design are built as one plan instead of three competing ones.
He and Hannah extended that idea outward into a Fractional Family Office: the coordinated bench that only the wealthiest families normally fund — estate planning attorneys, CPAs, business exit planners, and specialists — made available to families with a business, some property, and retirement accounts. He partners with those professionals rather than competing with them.
Across the country he supports a team of over 100 agents and advisors, so the patterns he sees are not theoretical. The same avoidable losses come up again and again: retirement accounts structured to be taxed hardest at the worst possible moment, savings losing ground to inflation, market exposure that made sense at 45 and is reckless at 68, and estates that transfer with friction the family never saw coming.
Robert's specialty is finding money that already belongs to the client — lost to taxes, idle, or underperforming — and repositioning it to grow with little to no market risk, then protecting it and passing it on by design rather than by default.
He is plain-spoken about trade-offs, direct about what he does not know, and more interested in whether a plan survives a bad decade than whether it impresses anyone in a good one.
Robert and Hannah have a blended family of four children ranging from 35 to 13 — which means the questions they ask clients about fairness, timing, and what to leave to whom are questions they have had to answer at their own kitchen table.
Away from the office they travel as often as the calendar allows — cruises, and scuba diving wherever the water is worth getting into. Robert is happy to drop Hannah at a trailhead and meet her later by easier means, though he has designs on seeing the bottom of the Grand Canyon himself one day, by raft.
Home is Theo, an 80-pound three-year-old Labrador, and Zeus, an 18-pound five-year-old Teddy Bear who has not been informed of the weight difference.
Founder
Hannah Johnson has spent nearly two decades in the protection business, which is another way of saying she has spent nearly two decades on the phone with people on the worst day of their year.
A graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University, where she earned two degrees, Hannah began in property and casualty insurance — the side of the industry where claims either get paid or they don't, and where families learn what their coverage actually said rather than what they assumed it said.
She moved from protecting property to protecting people and income, working extensively in living benefits and in safeguarding retirements from the three events that undo them most often: a long-term care need, a market decline at exactly the wrong age, and the death of the spouse who happened to be managing the money.
That last one matters to her most. A great deal of estate planning quietly assumes the surviving spouse will know where everything is, what it does, and who to call. Hannah's work is making that assumption true — writing plans the person left holding them can actually run.
Today Hannah is a principal alongside Robert across their insurance agency, tax strategy firm, and Zoop Alpha Advisors, their SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm, supporting a team of over 100 agents and advisors nationwide.
She is also a driving force behind their Fractional Family Office, which brings estate planning attorneys, CPAs, and business exit planners around one table on behalf of one family — rather than leaving the family to carry messages between them.
In meetings she is usually the one asking the question nobody asked: what happens if this goes wrong, and who bears it?
Hannah and Robert have a blended family of four children, ages 35 to 13 — a span that has taught her firsthand how complicated legacy planning gets when the people you love are in four different stages of life.
Outside of work, Hannah is the hiker in the family. One of her favorite places on earth is the bottom of the Grand Canyon, which she has reached six times on rim-to-rim and rim-to-river hikes; Robert is welcome to meet her at the top.
She and Robert travel widely, favor cruises, and scuba dive whenever they get the chance. She is devoted to Theo, their 80-pound Labrador, and to Zeus, the 18-pound Teddy Bear who believes he outranks him.

Founder and CEO of ePIC Services Company
For nearly two decades, Carter has assisted top advisors in providing safe retirement solutions, bringing access to a network of industry professionals, and supporting their many clients.
His personal experience with the “average” households seeking to protect their savings has driven him to identify unmet needs in the financial industry. Carter noticed a gap between those with a solid retirement plan and those at risk of outliving their savings or having their legacy mismanaged.
To address this, he collaborated with leading experts to create the three E’s: Educate, Enlighten, and Empower. This led to the development of cloud-based Estate Planning software combined with his unique process, offering a much-needed solution.
Carter and his team now connect consumers with the necessary financial professionals and education through the eStatePlan™ Portfolio. This innovative solution helps people avoid costly legal fees using the OEPT (Outsourced Estate Planning Team) for comprehensive estate and legacy planning support.
Carter is also the ambassador of Legacy Stories and is leading the charge of The Living Legacy Project, which helps his network of independent advisors provide the necessary process to document their extensive lives. Will Riggs is one such Financial Professional.
